A LATE HARVEST VIDAL FROM LINDEN.
THE VIRGINIA WINE REVOLUTION IS UPON ON.
Hannibal, can you be more perfect? Linden Vidal Riesling was my first favorite wine.
It’s a slightly controversial winery in the area. It’s in a beautiful setting for picnics, but the owner closed the grounds and deck to everyone but case club members. This was a big deal, because VA wines and wineries are still generally small enough that they have to be accommodating to everyone (many area wineries welcome kids and dogs). The owner DGAF about the outcry from the hoi polloi and the winery has gotten a bit of a reputation for being “snooty”. But they can afford to be, because they make good wine.
Also, they finally mentioned the distance between B’more and Wolf Trap, lol.
are you sick of this joke yet?
because I’m not

Episode seven was so worth staying up till 2:00 AM. Fucking masterclass.
Like a shadow suspended on dust.
What is the distance between Baltimore, MA and Wolf Trap, VA, anyway?
LOL. It’s Baltimore, Maryland (MD - MA is Massachusetts), which is like 40-50 miles from Wolf Trap. Not too far, but ridiculous traffic on the Virginia side.
“The spores reach for you as you walk by. I know who you’re reaching for - I know. Abigail Hobbs. You should have let me plant her. You would have found her in a field - where she was finally able to reach back.”

“You know Will - I think Uncle Jack sees you as the fragile little teacup. The finest china used for only special guests.”

“Are we gonna reenact the crime? You be my dad, you be my mom, and you be the man on the phone.”
